ECA is a private co-ed preparatory institution catering to students from nursery to Grade 6.
Everyone knows that one of the most important parts of a building is the foundation. But that’s also true of the lives of our children. At ECA, all our efforts are directed towards giving our children the best possible foundation for their future by creating a safe and nurturing environment for them to grow and learn.
Our teachers and staff recognise and embrace, their God-given responsibility to shape the character of each student. We introduce them to God by immersing them in the Bible, and provide them with the highest standard of academic instruction. We also cater to their social and physical development, and provide a wide range of opportunities for them to explore the world and develop their interests through co-curricular and extracurricular programmes.
ECA opened its doors on September 10, 2000 with a student body of 56 students, between Kindergarten 3 and Grade 6. ECA is a ministry of, and is supported by the Emmanuel Baptist Church, which is located on the same compound as the school.
Emmanuel Christian Academy recruits staff of the highest calibre. We believe that if our students are to excel and fully maximise their potential, they must be taught by teachers who have like-minded personal goals.
We have a contingent of 61 full-time and three part-time staff members. 100% of our lead staff have teaching diplomas or first degrees in Education. In addition, in keeping with our high standards we have six staff members who have Masters degrees.
